There is plenty of life left in the frets and the action is good and low and was set up by my guitar tech. Please contact me if you want any more detailed close-ups of anything, and I'll do my best within the limitations of my photographic skills/equipment. It's been well looked-after and I hope it goes to a loving home.

Whether you like this is ultimately a matter of taste. I've never seen another like it but have a feeling it's got slightly 'creamier' with age in a way not dissimilar to the way Gibson Les Pauls/SGs and Gretsch White Falcons go. In fact photographing this guitar has proved very difficult : I've included a few 'with flash/without flash' options to try and give a true representation of the colour.

There a a few minute dings that have not cracked or penetrated the finish in a couple of other places on the gtr but they're so minor they don't show up in photos. The notable marks on the gtr are a small stain in the cutaway (pic#5) and a small chip at the top of the back of the headstock (pic#8) and a small chip in the lacquer on the back of the neck and a tiny one in the finish (pic#9). The finish is in excellent condition throughout and all body-binding is intact. All the hardware is gold plated - this is in reasonably good condition for a guitar of this age and shows the inevitable oxidation patina that occurs when these guitars are played regularly. Controls for volume and tone, with the tone doubling up as a push coil-tap switch - the single-coil option on Yamaha SGs is a very useful tonal variation and I use it a lot. The body is very slightly thinner than either of those guitars but heavy all the same! This guitar has the 'through-neck' of the 2000 giving a lovely smooth heel-less neck/body join facilitating easy access to the high frets. I own a number of Yamaha SGs and would place the 1300 somewhere between the 10. Locking nut is fastened with standard allen-key. They more commonly show up in metallic red or black. Mostly when these 'T' SGs are advertised, it is without the arm - everything here is present and correct. The 'T' in the name designates factory-fitted with original Yamaha 'Khaler/Floyd-Rose-style' locking tremolo (Arm included). The vintage ivory/cream colour was produced in very small quantities and very rarely comes up for sale. It's in excellent condition, well set-up/intonated etc and plays beautifully.
